PROPOSALS

Proposal 1.

Proposed by: Michael Akers

Seconder: Andrew Humphreys

1 A)Our clubs Tuesday and Thursday interval training sessions to be posted on Facebook or made available a few days before each week. The sessions to include distance of each interval and rest time. For example 5x2k with 2mins rest. Bournemouth AC advertise their weekly sessions every Sunday.

That way members can plan their training. For example if someone has trained on hills on the Sunday they would like to know if it’s a hill session on the Tuesday.

1 B) I feel we could do with a few more coaches to take sessions at Thursday Track, that way multiple sessions could take place at once. I know Southampton AC often do 3 or 4 different sessions on the track at the same time, for  example those targeting 5k and different ones for half marathon.

 Proposal 2.

Proposed by:   Mike Towner

Seconded by:  Peter Ferenczy

Current Constitution states: Finances 6(e) any cheques drawn against club funds should hold the signatures of two officers of the club.

Proposal is to add the following:

Despite the above the Treasurer may,  at his discretion , pay creditors by BACs only  if both the following apply  1)  The payee is VAT registered  &   2)  The amount to be paid matches a previous supplied quotation or list of charges (i.e. UKA Membership fees etc).
