It’s with regret we announce the passing of one of the Club’s original members, Brian Crane.

Brian became a member just after the Club was founded. He ran fifteen  Marathons and many local races in our Club Colours.  A gentle and caring man, in his last running years he spent much of his time helping newer members on their  first  few weeks with us.  Brian became unwell  some eight years ago and has not run since then. Our  condolences to his family.

The Service of Remembrance was today and ended with a rendering of the London Marathon Theme tune.

Poole Runners were represented by Geoff Scott, Dave Hayes and Anne and Mike Towner
