Weekly Schedule

We’ve got lots of training sessions taking place each week for our juniors to participate in. If you are interested in joining view our membership page. Our dedicated junior sessions take place on Thursdays and Saturdays and include a wide range of activities. Other activities take place on different days, view our schedule for more information.

Coaching

We have a large team of trained coaches covering different activities to help develop your child.

All coaches and assistant coaches have completed the England Athletics coaching courses. To become qualified they are all CRB/DBS checked. We also have a Child Protection/Welfare Officer.

Track and Field

Poole Runners has a strong Track and Field section to the club with all welcome from ages 8 years upwards. We encourage everyone to “have a go” at all disciplines whether it is throws, jumps, sprints, middle or long distance, cross country, or any other athletics event.

There are two designated sessions for those athletes under 18 years old held on Thursdays and Saturdays will include a wide range of activities.

Cross Country

Poole Runners enters both the Wessex Cross Country Leagues (races are Sundays and Hampshire Cross Country Leagues (Races Saturdays).The Hampshire League is a higher standard but shouldn’t scare anyone off. It is great training and improves road running stamina.

The events are free to enter for all club members, just turn up and run.
