Club Championship – Club Mile

The annual Poole Runner’s Club Mile will be held on Thursday 7th September.
Its race ten of the Senior’s Club Championship(road) Points for the championship will be awarded in the usual way. i.e. first senior 50 points, 2nd 49 point etc.
In addition small medals and trophies for the mile will be awarded on race night to:-
Junior Boy 8 to 11; Boy 12 to 15; Male Youth 16 to 19 .
Male 20 to 39; Male 40-49; Male 60+
Junior Girl 8 to 11; Girl 12 to 15; Female Youth 16 to 19.
Female 20 to 39; Female 40-49; Female 60+
(note all ages will be calculated as of 1/1/17)
It’s a free, fun evening, competing over just one mile. Runners of similar abilities will race together and cheer on fellow runners in other races.

Heat one will be at 7:00pm. We anticipate approximately five heats with the final one for the fastest runners at 8:10pm
