Please check our COVID page for more information. \nThe Coombe Keynes 10K\, part of the Purbeck Trail Series\, combines a friendly village event with a trail race on private\, estate trails not normally open to the public. \nThe race is run on a scenic\, hilly course wholly within the private and historic Lulworth Estate. From tracks on chalk downland to woodland paths there is outstanding scenery throughout the race’s 10km length. Located only a stone’s throw from Lulworth Cove and the Jurassic Coast\, this race is not to be missed regardless of whether you’re a fun-runner or seasoned club racer. \nThe start and finish are in the small Purbeck village of Coombe Keynes and all profits go to charity – the Coombe Keynes Trust.

DESCRIPTION:Race Three  of the 2022 “Off Road” Club Championship Series \n\n\n\nAbout the route\n\n\nBoth races start from and finish at an ancient thatched barn in a historic tiny hamlet of Turners Puddle in the heart of Dorset. \nThe routes go straight uphill from the start\, and then follow farm tracks\, fields\, trails that wind through ancient woodlands\, old hidden holloways (sunken trails following historic drovers routes)\, short road sections through picturesque hamlets\, managed woodland tracks\, heathland\, and all in the glorious Dorset countryside. \nDespite all that lovely countryside though this race is not a pushover. In the marathon there are 13 hills\, around 1000m of elevation\, a fair bit of mud to lose your trail shoes in\, 7 stiles to clamber over while swearing\, & 2 fords.\nThe half boasts around 400m of elevation.

DESCRIPTION:Race Two of the 2022 “OFF ROAD” Club Championship\nOne the popular events on the trail running calendar returns to Lulworth Cove in Dorset but with a difference. \nThis year the event will run on both Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March 2022. \nLulworth Cove is one of the most beautiful and recognisable stretches of coastline in the country situated right on the South West Coast Path\, starting at Durdle Door. \nIt is a spectacular place to begin the trail running challenge but don’t be fooled by the vistas\, those climbs aren’t for the faint hearted. \nWe have four distances on offer\, Ultra Marathon\, Marathon\, Half Marathon and 10k. \nA stunning route\, following the South West Coast path along towards Weymouth and then towards Poole\, the views are never ending! \nThis is a stunning venue for a trail running challenge and we advise you to take a camera for the challenge and enjoy the view as you run. \nCanicross friendly (please ensure your dog has trained fully for this event

DESCRIPTION:Race two of the 2022 Dorset Road Race League and a Poole Runners (Road) Club Championship race. \nA half marathon over quiet undulating country roads in a beautiful area of North Dorset and is run by the Blackmore Vale Lions Club. The start/finish on grass make this event unsuitable for wheelchairs. No earphones of any type allowed. Profits from the event will be used for charitable donations and worthwhile causes within the Blackmore Vale. Online entries will be notified of race numbers by email. Actual race numbers will be posted to runners prior to the race. No on-the-day entries and no refund policy.
