DESCRIPTION:THIS RACE IS A POOLE RUNNERS “OFF ROAD” CLUB CHAMPIONSHIOP” EVENT\nTO ENTER CLICK HERE \nThe Stickler (now in its 28th year) is a 10.1 mile multi terrain running race. The Dorset Three Peaks involves over 1500ft of gruelling climbing\, beginning with the infamous ’Stickle Path’. Runners ascend three locally renowned peaks along the beautiful Stour Valley: Okeford Beacon\, Hod Hill and Hambledon Hill. The course is mostly on gravel tracks\, with some stretches on tarmac and grass. \n\n\nRace HQ\, Registration: opens at 8.30am at The Shillingstone Church Centre\, DT11 0SW. Numbers will be posted out to you\, but if you have not received yours please come to HQ on the day. \nEntries do sell out fast\, but there may be a small number available on the day if we still have capacity. \nCar Parking: Space is limited\, and it is a 10 minute walk to race HQ\, so please arrive in good time and lift share where possible. It’s more fun and better for the environment!

DESCRIPTION:No entries on the day – please go to the online store to secure your place at the event. \nYou must provide relevant medical information at registration. First Aiders will be on hand for medical emergencies. \n\nThe 5km and 10km races start together and split at around 3.5km. The split is clearly signed and marshalled. The colour of your race number indicates the race you are running\, so the marshals know how to direct you. ONLY THE 10K IS PART OF THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS \n​ \nThere is a water station. We are a cupless race. There are no cups. Cups are not present. The race has no cups. \n\nAlthough the route is all on well worn trails\, some sections are boggy and some sections are steep. There are low branches\, tree roots\, and the occasional rabbit hole or farmer so please take care while competing and we would suggest you wear trail shoes if you have them (although not essential).\nIt’s a trail race\, please run within your limits\, a sprained ankle is no fun. \n\nPost race – Refreshing water and fetching bling will be provided at the finish\, then join us at Race HQ for free tea and cake!

DESCRIPTION:The Beast is just that\, a beast of race. Taking in some of the most spectacular views of Dorset (well in our humble opinion)\, the 13(ish) mile ‘undulating’ course starts on Corfe Castle Common before heading out towards Worth Matravers and then on to the coastal path with great views of the sea! The course then heads back towards Corfe with only a few ‘minor’ hills to get up.

DESCRIPTION:The Coombe Keynes 10K\, part of the Purbeck Trail Series\, combines a friendly village event with a trail race on private\, estate trails not normally open to the public. Enter now… \nThe race is run on a scenic\, hilly course wholly within the private and historic Lulworth Estate. From tracks on chalk downland to woodland paths there is outstanding scenery throughout the race’s 10km length. Located only a stone’s throw from Lulworth Cove and the Jurassic Coast\, this race is not to be missed regardless of whether you’re a fun-runner or seasoned club racer. \nThe start and finish are in the small Purbeck village of Coombe Keynes and all profits go to charity – the Coombe Keynes Trust.

DESCRIPTION:Race Four of the  2023 Road Race Club Championship\, The event is also a DRRL fixture \nThe M12k follows beautiful small lanes around a number of villages. It is mildly undulating but with a couple of water stops on route there is time to take a breather. We have dedicated parking\, post run snack for all runners and a great village pub for your cheeky Sunday pint. \nThe 12k is organised under the Association of Running Club rules and has a certificate of course accuracy.  It’s a headphone free race\, is limited to 200 entries and for runners over the age of 17.
