DESCRIPTION:The Beast is just that\, a beast of race. Taking in some of the most spectacular views of Dorset (well in our humble opinion)\, the 12(ish) mile ‘undulating’ course starts on Corfe Castle Common before heading out towards Worth Matravers and then on to the coastal path with great views of the sea! The course then heads back towards Corfe with only a few ‘minor’ hills to get up.

DESCRIPTION:Hengistbury Head Hustle V2 – 19th August 2018 \nOpen to all standards.   The distances are aprox 19\, 14 and 11 miles.  We are using the Stour Valley Way to the Wimborne area\, then the Castleman Trailway to Broadstone. Maps will be available and the route will be marked with road paint and arrows on the day. There will be an “aid station” at “The Bridge House” Longham if anyone gets into difficulties. \nThe coach will leave Broadstone at 8:40am. It will drop off runners at Hengistbury Head and Tesco’s Castle Lane Bournemouth\nCurrently we have one 49 seat coach booked. DESCRIPTION:The race is run on a scenic and undulating course wholly within the private and historic Lulworth Estate. From tracks on chalk downland to woodland paths there is outstanding scenery throughout the race’s 10km length. Located only a stone’s throw from Lulworth Cove and the Jurassic Coast\, this race is not to be missed regardless of whether you’re a fun-runner or seasoned club racer. \nThe start and finish are in the small village of Coombe Keynes and all profits go to charity – the Coombe Keynes Trust. \nEntry costs only £13 (£8 for Juniors\, 16-19) if your club is affiliated to ARC or UKA (+£2 if unaffiliated).

SUMMARY:Summer Series - Race1
DESCRIPTION:The Poole Runners Summer Series of time trials is a simple turn up\, race and go event. No fuss and minimal paperwork.  The races are open to all standards. You don’t have to be a member of a running club. The routes are traffic free paths starting and finishing in front of Upton House. This is the first race of the 2018 series.  Until 8 pm on Sunday 29th April a reduced payment can be made for the whole series\, Thereafter all other entries per-night only. In all cases please use the same number for all races.   \nOnline\, one payment for the whole series:  This is the preferred method\, and is available\, for seniors only ( 14 plus on 2/5/18)\, using our offer of “Pay for five races and get the sixth race free”. This is just £10\, plus a one-off £2 if you are a non-Club Runner.  The online system will close 29th April 9:00 pm. \nYour number will be ready for collection at race one. Thereafter no need to queue or register at subsequent races. Just keep the same number for the whole series and go directly to the start line. \n On-line entries for this series will be available as from Sunday 19th Nov until Sunday 29th April. \n Enter Online \n Thereafter all entries are per race night only. \n  \nOn night Entries Seniors ( 14 or over on 2/5/18)  –  At first race only simply complete a registration form\,  seniors pay £2 plus a one off £2 if not a Club Runner.  Thereafter just £2 per night. Canford Wimborne BH21 3AP Meet at 9.30am \nThe Club is situated halfway between the Bear Cross roundabout and the Gravel Hill lights. Ample free Parking. Bring drink and cake for the mid-walk break. \nBelow  is a message from Geoff Scott :- \nThis is the last ever Schindler’s Shuffle. After 18 years\, and hitting the 200th walk I thought it would be a good time to finish the one month regularity.  Obviously I will not stop walking and will continue to organize walks on a less regular basis.  \nOn a personal note I’ve thoroughly enjoyed organizing the walks and have met a lot of lovely people and made many new friends.  The Shuffle is not dead\, just resting.” \nGeoff Scott \nA big thank you to Geoff Scott for all the time and effort he has put in to organising these walks over the past 18 years\n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The race is organised by Bournemouth Athletic Club and starts and finishes at Bournemouth Pier. \nThe race is one lap covering an undulating road surface mainly along the Promenade and Cliff-Top overlooking the seafront with stunning views of the Isle of Wight and the Purbeck Hills in the distance. \nThe Bournemouth 10 mile road race is the 3rd Dorset Road Race League (DRRL) race in 2018 and part of ‘The Imperial 10 Mile Series’. The other two races of the Imperial Series are: \nLytchett 10. 10:30am Sunday 11th February 2018 \nLarmer 10. 08:30am Saturday 10th March 2018 \nAll finishers of the 3 series races will receive an ‘Imperial’ medal with top 3 and category prizes against cumulative times too.
