DESCRIPTION:Race Three  of the 2022 “Off Road” Club Championship Series \n\n\n\nAbout the route\n\n\nBoth races start from and finish at an ancient thatched barn in a historic tiny hamlet of Turners Puddle in the heart of Dorset. \nThe routes go straight uphill from the start\, and then follow farm tracks\, fields\, trails that wind through ancient woodlands\, old hidden holloways (sunken trails following historic drovers routes)\, short road sections through picturesque hamlets\, managed woodland tracks\, heathland\, and all in the glorious Dorset countryside. \nDespite all that lovely countryside though this race is not a pushover. In the marathon there are 13 hills\, around 1000m of elevation\, a fair bit of mud to lose your trail shoes in\, 7 stiles to clamber over while swearing\, & 2 fords.\nThe half boasts around 400m of elevation.

DESCRIPTION:The Poole Runners Summer Series is six  races\, each being about 5km\, on Wednesday evening spread over the summer. Participants can is simply turn up\, register and race! No fuss and minimal paperwork.\nHow do I enter?\n\n\n\n\n\nOn Night Entries for Seniors ( 14 or over on 5/5/21):\nAt first race attended only\, simply complete a registration form\,  seniors pay just £2 plus a one off £3 at their first registration  if not a Club Runner.  Thereafter all  just £2 per night. Keep your race number for all subsequent races.  Starts at 19:15 (3.5 Miles Approx.) \n On Night Entries for Juniors (Over 4 to Under 14 on 5/5/21 ):\nAt first race attended only\, simply complete a registration form and pay just  £1.50.  Remaining races just pay  £1 Keep your race number for all races

DESCRIPTION:The Course\nThe course is mostly flat\, but with a challenging double loop around Bowleaze. \nRunners start and finish the 10 mile route at the Pavilion end of Weymouth Esplanade. \nParking is available in the Pavilion carpark\, or there is on-street parking along the seafront which is only a few minutes walk from Race HQ\, or finally the Swannery Carpark (10-15 minute walk). DESCRIPTION:Both a Dorsey Road Race League race  (a 15 to 17 selected race) and a Poole Runners Club Championship event. \nStarting from Shaftesbury School on Hawkesdene Lane\, Shaftesbury SP7 8NU\, at 11AM\, the race is a single loop 10k on scenic country lanes. \nThe course is hilly and soon after the start you get to run up the picturesque Gold Hill\, made famous by the Hovis advert. \nSorry the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. \nThe race is accurately measured and organised according to UKA rules by the Dorset Doddlers.
