All members, juniors and seniors are welcome to participate in track and field events.

Poole Runners enters the Southern Athletics League and the Wessex Athletics League.

Members of the club get the opportunity to have a go at the full range of athletic events.  We try to vary the sessions so that they are interesting, and also structure them so that athletes training is aimed at the competitions coming up or the athlete’s personal goals.

                                        Training sessions over the week cover most disciplines, including high jump, long jump, hammer, discuss, shotput, javelin, sprinting, hurdling, middle distance, long distance, steeplechase, relays, road running, cross country and orienteering.
