Schindlers Shuffles are gentle walks (not runs), organised by club legend Geoff Scott (70), usually of about 6 miles starting and finishing at a pub where most people stop for a drink or food afterwards. All are welcome (including dogs), you don’t have to be a Poole Runner or indeed a runner. Suitable footwear and clothing for the prevailing conditions are recommended as is a drink and cake for the mid-walk break.

Walk 181

Directions

Take the A351 Wareham to Swanage Road.  The pub is on the right hand side about 1 mile before Corfe Castle.

The walk will take us into the Purbecks and the area surrounding Corfe Castle.  This is a wonderful area for walking with spectacular views on a clear day. The walk may be muddy in parts
